It's scary. The world keeps turning, slow and steady. It keeps turning when we want it to stop. It keeps turning when we want it to speed up. It just does what it does, always has, always will. We're all so insane about the past, about the future.

How many of us ever sit and listen to the world turn?

Josh - Insanity is exactly the right word, as so many emotions and fears can literally consume us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts (now hop to it and update your blog!) - Susan

I just need to say again how touched I was by this post. I wish I had something more articulate to share but it feels as if your wrote about where my heart has been lurking.

Dorie-Thanks. I wish I knew what more to say in response, but I mean that most sincerely...It's an intensely personal situation, but one that I think everyone can unfortunately relate to at some point in their lives. I regret that you may be going through something similar, but I'm grateful if I was able to help you in any way. All the best. - Susan
